A CubeSat is a small satellite composed of one or more 10cm x 10cm x ~10cm cubes. Sometimes referred to as a “U” as in unit, the cubes can be combined in configurations of 2U, 3U, 6U, and more. CubeSats provide many advantages that larger satellites cannot offer. They are relatively inexpensive and can be fabricated much faster. Thin epoxy overlays are used for improving the condition and extending the service life of bridge decks. The tensile bond pull-off strength, evaluated as per the ASTM C1583, is used as the performance indicator. A failure in the substrate with a tensile strength of 250 psi or greater is considered acceptable. However, the performance evaluated on in-service bridge decks shows inconsistent results. Laboratory studies by several researchers documented a distinct performance difference when the overlays are exposed to room temperatures in comparison to elevated temperatures. In this work, a pressure sensing system was designed and fabricated by developing a highly sensitive cone-structured pressure sensor with a custom-built software for physiological monitoring applications. A novel highly sensitive cone structured porous polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) based pressure sensor capable of detecting very low-pressure ranges was developed for respiration monitoring. The pressure sensor was fabricated using a master mold, a hybrid-structured dielectric layer, and fabric-based electrodes. The master mold with inverted cone structures was created using a rapid and precise three-dimensional (3D) printing technique. In laparoscopic surgery, which is also referred to as minimally invasive surgery (MIS), surgeons carry out surgical procedures with the assistance of a video camera and several surgical instruments. Laparoscopic surgeons should possess excellent eye-hand coordination capabilities, strong cognitive knowledge, case and problem management, and manual dexterity skills. Such skills can be acquired through simulation using a basic, low-fidelity setup, such as the surgical box-trainer. Patella resection, as a routine component of TKA, can be both difficult to plan and difficult to execute. The primary purpose of this study was to evaluate the repeatability of three unique patellar resection techniques used in total knee arthroplasty. The secondary purpose of this study was to establish whether different surgical techniques were able to reproduce preoperative plans made by each surgeon. We used radiographic measurements to evaluate patellar thickness and patellar cut angle preoperatively and postoperatively. Structured data sources have a pre-defined pattern that makes data preprocessing and information retrieval tasks relatively easy for the current technologies that have been designed to handle structured and repeatable data. Keystone Solutions Group requires a space, money, and time saving machine that can automatically load swabs and other similar sized devices into a new Multivac R245 form-fill-seal machine. Currently, Multivac “auto-loaders” are very costly and take up a great deal of space. A portable, easy-to-mount, automated swab loader was designed and initially prototyped. This design can be moved throughout the cleanroom with current material handling devices and contains enough storage to run continuously for upwards of a half an hour.

In this project, designs for the hinging, propping, and latching mechanisms on the 2021 Sunseeker Solar Car were created. These designs allow for the car’s array of solar panels to be held at any desired angle to maximize collection of solar power and give the team access to the battery and driver compartment. Removable telescoping prop rods with pin attachments are used to set the array at a desired angle. The hinging mechanism allows for the array to be lifted vertically prior to rotation in order to avoid interference with the car’s roll cage. To accomplish this, two four-bar linkages …
