Constructing Series, Parallel And Mixed Circuits With Lightbulbs And Analyzing Their Behaviors, Adaeze A. Eze

A with Honors Projects

This honors project was an experiment "to find out if the principles of a series, parallel and a mixed circuit still apply under the given condition (varying bulb resistance)."

Performance And Emissions Of Spark Ignited Fuels, Kerry L. Lippold Jan 2018

Performance And Emissions Of Spark Ignited Fuels, Kerry L. Lippold

Natural Sciences Student Research Presentations

This slide presentation from the Natural Sciences Poster Session at Parkland college defines how combustion engines work and summarizes a study conducted to identify efficient and emission reducing fuel.

Improvement Of Emissions Of Internal Combustion Engines Using Reduction In Weight, Javier Alanis Jan 2018

Improvement Of Emissions Of Internal Combustion Engines Using Reduction In Weight, Javier Alanis

Natural Sciences Student Research Presentations

This slide presentation for the Natural Sciences Poster Session at Parkland College identifies the health hazards associated with combustion engine emissions and summarizes a study conducted to determine if an engine with reduced weight would also reduce emissions.

Solid Electrolytes For Better Batteries: A Report On Current Research, Jonathan D. Young Jan 2018

Solid Electrolytes For Better Batteries: A Report On Current Research, Jonathan D. Young

Natural Sciences Student Research Presentations

No abstract provided.

Uses For Graphene, Marcus R. Schmidt Jan 2017

Uses For Graphene, Marcus R. Schmidt

Natural Sciences Student Research Presentations

This slide presentation for the Natural Sciences Poster Session at Parkland College discusses graphene, which is a chemically or mechanically produced single layer of pure carbon atoms. The thinnest compound known to man is also one of the strongest, with uses in technology and the health industry from faster charging batteries to motorcycle helmets. The remaining slides summarize a process by which free radicals are reduced in graphene by being treated with butyl acrylate polymerization.

Schneider Electric: Intro To Plc Programming, Brent Marshall

A with Honors Projects

This student project provides a brief description of the project: tutorial and demonstration for programming on the schneider electric PLC with SoMachine Basic.

Basic Mosfet Fabrication, Daniel A. Ivy Jan 2014

Basic Mosfet Fabrication, Daniel A. Ivy

Natural Sciences Student Research Presentations

The MOSFET, or metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor, are the sole entities responsible for processing in microchips of everyday electronics, yet they have become extremely small. How can one manufacture such a small, powerful product? By using the simple process of pushing ions away with a nearby electric charge, a switch can be compressed down to unimaginable sizes.
