The rapid evolution of technology has given rise to a connected world where billions of devices interact seamlessly, forming what is known as the Internet of Things (IoT). While the IoT offers incredible convenience and efficiency, it presents a significant challenge to cybersecurity and is characterized by various power, capacity, and computational process limitations. Machine learning techniques, particularly those encompassing supervised classification techniques, offer a systematic approach to training models using labeled datasets. Robustembed: Robust Sentence Embeddings Using Self-Supervised Contrastive Pre-Training, Javad Asl, Eduardo Blanco, Daniel Takabi

Pre-trained language models (PLMs) have demonstrated their exceptional performance across a wide range of natural language processing tasks. The utilization of PLM-based sentence embeddings enables the generation of contextual representations that capture rich semantic information. However, despite their success with unseen samples, current PLM-based representations suffer from poor robustness in adversarial scenarios. In this paper, we propose RobustEmbed, a self-supervised sentence embedding framework that enhances both generalization and robustness in various text representation tasks and against diverse adversarial attacks. Higher education institutions (HEIs) are increasingly relying on digital technologies for classroom and organizational management, but this puts them at higher risk for information and communication (ICT security attacks. Recent studies show that HEIs have experienced more security breaches in ICT security composed of both cybersecurity an information security.
