"Diffusion coefficients of iron-59 in nickel have been determined in the temperature range 815°C to 1200°C. The temperature dependence can be represented by an Arrhenius type relationship,...The effect of the isotopic mass on the diffusion coefficient of cobalt in nickel has also been investigated. The isotope effect parameter, E, was found to vary from .26 to .84 over the temperature range 970.5°C to 1200°C. Both results are consistent with the single vacancy mechanism of diffusion. No evidence of divacancy contributions to the mass transport has been found"--Abstract, Page i.
