With the coming of the machine age, the need of adequate playground and recreation areas in large cities is steadily increasing. During the past ten years, or more, congested cities have found it necessary to supply at any cost, playground and. recreation areas, for their people, who from year to year find that they have more and more leisure time at their disposal.
