Abstract: To ensure the economy and stability of microgrid operation, the power fluctuations of renewable energy source (RES) and the lifetime characteristics of battery energy storage system (BESS) should be considered. The influence of charging and discharging depth and rate on the lifetime of BESS is researched, a model of battery energy storage system for real-time optimal scheduling is established, and the alternating direction method of multipliers is adopted for the distributed optimal scheduling of microgrid clusters.
