Experimental Study On Acoustic Emission Evolution Characteristics And Response Mechanism Of Damaged Rocks, Zhang Kai, Zhang Dongxiao, Zhao Yongqiang, Yang Yingming, Guo Weiyao, Sun Peng, Xu Linpeng, Fu Guangsheng

Coal Geology & Exploration

The evolution of rock internal damage is one of the causes of geotechnical engineering disasters, and revealing the response characteristics of key parameters during the rock failure could provide a basis for the identification instability state after rock failure, which is of great importance for the early warning and prevention of rock engineering disasters. Herein, the siltstone specimens with different damage degrees were prepared by cyclic loading-unloading tests, and uniaxial loading tests were carried out with the damaged specimens. On this basis, the relationship between the damage degree of specimen and the wave velocity, as well as the acoustic emission …

Energy Evolution Of Unloading Confining Pressure And Dissipative Energy Damage Constitutive Model Of Coal-Rock Combination, Wen-Kai Ru, Shan-Chao Hu, Di-Yuan Li, Jin-Yin Ma, Chen-Xi Zhang, Ping-Kuang Luo, Hao Gong, Ao-Hui Zhou

Rock and Soil Mechanics

In coal mining, the excavation of a coal-rock roadway and a thin coal seam will inevitably cause radial unloading of the coal-rock combination system. The radial unloading phenomenon is often accompanied by the rapid accumulation and release of energy, so it is necessary to investigate the energy evolution law of coal-rock combination specimens under the unloading confining pressure condition. To this end, the unloading confining pressure tests with different unloading rates were carried out for the coal-rock combination specimens. The results show that: (1) The axial loading and constant stress stages are the main energy storage stages of the combination …

Technical science and innovation

Vegetable raw materials, as an object of drying, are characterized by a large amount of water and a low content of dry substances. Vegetable raw materials have a capillary-porous structure. Food products contain both bound and free moisture at the same time. The removal of moisture from the material during drying depends on the total moisture content and the form of connection of moisture with the material. Adsorption and osmotic - bound moisture is retained at the interface of colloidal particles with the environment. Food products contain both bound and free moisture at the same time. The quantitative ratio between …
