In this paper, we apply the Dynamic Kanban System for Disassembly Line (DKSDL) to an industrial setting. The product considered is a second-generation industrial voice recognition client unit. The company manufacturing this device has moved on to the next generation device, which has more memory, faster CPU and a standardized OS support. There are many of the older generation clients in the customer base, which are being upgraded to the new generation resulting in a large number of the older units at hand.
