Neural Network Approach On Loss Minimization Control Of A Pmsm With Core Resistance Estimation, Hüseyi̇n Erdoğan, Mehmet Özdemi̇r

Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences

Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) are often used in industry for high-performance applications. Their key features are high power density, linear torque control capability, high efficiency, and fast dynamic response. Today, PMSMs are prevalent especially for their use in hybrid electric vehicles. Since operating the motor at high efficiency values is critically important for electric vehicles, as for all other applications, minimum loss control appears to be an inevitable requirement in PMSMs. In this study, a neural network-based intelligent minimum loss control technique is applied to a PMSM. It is shown by means of the results obtained that the total …

Intercell interference is a major factor that limits the capacity of cellular wireless communication systems. This paper proposes an accurate statistical model that caters to interference and noise to determine the ergodic capacity. A new expression for ergodic capacity is derived that enables us to calculate area spectral efficiency (ASE) and energy efficiency (EE). This expression has been used to calculate and compare ASE and EE for low and high traffic scenarios with various signal-to-noise ratios and intercell distances.

Refrigerators are one of the main devices used in our daily lives, and they play important roles in storing food and maintaining its freshness. Refrigerator manufacturing is improving day by day and it is important for the appliance to present a diverse array of functions to its users, since usage requirements vary from region to region. For this purpose, refrigerators must pass through various performance tests like an energy efficiency test while they are produced in factories. Factories have designated testing rooms for these performance tests. After the products' release, technical services and customers do not have such a luxury …
