In recent years, scientist and engineers have shown the advantages created by using the Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) method as flow diagnostic tool to characterize instantaneous velocity fields. One of the important benefits is found on its non-intrusive nature, this leads to accurate velocity fields. From the velocity field obtained by PIV important quantities can be derived, such as pressure and vorticity. The present study, uses PIV data of an incompressible turbulent pulsed jet to determine the pressure field associated with the flow field.
