Results Of The Study Of The Pumpkin Drying Process, Jasur Esirgapovich Safarov, Shahnoza Abduvakhitovna Sultanova, Andrey Svyatoslavovich Ponasenko, Gani Toshkhujaevich Dadaev

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The article presents the results of the study of the pumpkin drying process, comparisons with different drying models are carried out. A mathematical model for numerical analysis has been developed. Pumpkin drying rates are calculated and various drying models are investigated. 5 different drying models were used to verify the accuracy of experimental data and search for the most suitable model. The experimental data obtained for the drying air temperature of 45 °C, 55 °C and 65 °C were applied to various drying models.

Application Of Methods Of Intermittent Ventilation Of Industrial Premises Using A Digital Data Transmission System, Yuriy Shipulin, Abdullayev Temur, Jamolidin Usmanov, Shahnoza Ergasheva Aug 2021

Application Of Methods Of Intermittent Ventilation Of Industrial Premises Using A Digital Data Transmission System, Yuriy Shipulin, Abdullayev Temur, Jamolidin Usmanov, Shahnoza Ergasheva

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The article is devoted to topical applied issues, the application of methods of intermittent ventilation of industrial buildings using a digital data transmission system. The requirements for the parameters of the environment are determined, which include: composition, purity, temperature, air humidity, the content of positive and negative ions, the presence of fields of various origins (thermal, optical, biological, gas, and electromagnetic). The authors of the article argue that some of the listed parameters can be supported by ventilation and air conditioning (SCA) systems.

It is shown that when the controlled parameters are limited to a multidimensional area, the SCA control …

Study Of The Rheological Properties Of The Suspension Formed During The Production Of Caustic Soda By The Lime Method, Aktam Ulashovich Erkaev, Dildora Tursunova Mar 2021

Study Of The Rheological Properties Of The Suspension Formed During The Production Of Caustic Soda By The Lime Method, Aktam Ulashovich Erkaev, Dildora Tursunova

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The process of obtaining sodium hydroxide - caustic soda by conversion of soda ash with lime milk in the presence of natural mirabilite - has been investigated. The influence of temperature, Na2CO3: Na2SO4 ratio, concentration of lime milk and duration of the conversion process on this process was studied by identifying their optimal values. The study of the rheological properties of the reaction pulp showed that it is mobile and well filtered, which makes it possible to obtain rapidly settling large crystals of Na2CO3·2Na2SO4, Na …

Study Of Temperature Profile In Drying Process, Shaxnoza Abduvaxitovna Sultanova, Jasur Esirgapovich Safarov, Tojiniso Tursunboyevna Raxmanova Jul 2020

Study Of Temperature Profile In Drying Process, Shaxnoza Abduvaxitovna Sultanova, Jasur Esirgapovich Safarov, Tojiniso Tursunboyevna Raxmanova

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The article describes the simulation of the temperature field in a wide range of structural and operational parameters of the drying process. A qualitatively new representation of the temperature field profile in the chamber is revealed. As a result of the experiments, criteria were found for the unevenness of the temperature profiles on the pallets of the dispersion of the temperature of the material and the slope of the approximating line at fixed values of the average temperature of the substance. In the course of the work, an interrelation between the criteria of unevenness was revealed, which is clearly manifested …

Measurement And Analysis Of Temperature And Pressure In High Altitude Air Shipments, Sher Paul Singh, Jay Singh, J. Stallings, Gary J. Burgess, K. Saha Jan 2010

Measurement And Analysis Of Temperature And Pressure In High Altitude Air Shipments, Sher Paul Singh, Jay Singh, J. Stallings, Gary J. Burgess, K. Saha

Industrial Technology and Packaging

This study was performed (at the request of the FAA) to measure temperature and pressure conditions observed by standard packages in the FedEx Next Day Air network and the environmental conditions of passenger aircrafts. To measure the single parcel environment, two destinations known to be served by non-pressurized feeder and pressurized aircrafts in the USA, San Luis Obispo, California, and Twin Falls, Idaho, were used to represent higher altitude paths. Test packages (0.30 × 0.30 × 0.30 m) containing one MadgeTech PRTemp110 recorder were shipped Priority Overnight by FedEx from East Lansing, Michigan. For 6 weeks, two test packages were …

Performance Comparison Of Thermal Insulated Packaging Boxes, Bags And Refrigerants For Single-Parcel Shipments, S. P. Singh, Gary J. Burgess, Jay Singh Jan 2008

Performance Comparison Of Thermal Insulated Packaging Boxes, Bags And Refrigerants For Single-Parcel Shipments, S. P. Singh, Gary J. Burgess, Jay Singh

Industrial Technology and Packaging

A range of packaging solutions exists for products that must be kept within a specific temperature range throughout the supply-and-distribution chain. This report summarizes the results of studies conducted over a span of 2 years by the Consortium for Distribution Packaging at Michigan State University. Thermal insulation packaging materials such as expanded polystyrene, polyurethane, corrugated fibreboard, ThermalCor® and other composite packaging such as thermal insulating bags were studied. Phase change materials such as gel packs were also evaluated. Properties such as R-value, melting point and heat absorption were examined and are reported.
