CHEMISTRY AND CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
The purpose of this study is the synthesis and study of modified sulfur concrete for use in industrial construction. To achieve this goal, sulfur concrete based on gossypol resin and pyrolysis distillate was modified and studied. The strength properties of sulfur-based concrete obtained from sulfur modified with gossypol resin and pyrolysis distillate were investigated. For the addition to sulfur concrete, industrial waste was used as a finely dispersed filler - fly ash from the Angren TPP and phosphogypsum generated at Ammophos-Maxam JSC. It was found that the best strength results correspond to sulfur-based concrete modified with gossypol resin using an …

CHEMISTRY AND CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
The purpose of the study is to test a weakly basic anion exchanger of the polycondensation type in the processes of sorption of ions of copper, nickel, cobalt, zinc, cadmium. Among the indicated metal ions, the maximum sorption was established for copper ions.
To study the process of sorption of copper ions by the tested anion exchanger, the method of potentiometric titration was used. It was found that copper ions are sorbed by the anion exchanger in the form of a complex in the range of pH = 3,4-4,2. The formation of the copper ions complexes decreases with an increase …

CHEMISTRY AND CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
Investigated the electrochemical synthesis and characterized of a nanometer scale porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membranes with a mean pore diameter about of 80-100 nm. The anodizing process done by varying the anodizing temperature from 20 °C to 25 °C. The membranes exhibit interesting properties such as controllable pore diameters, periodicity and density distribution. These properties can preselected by adjusting the controlling parameters of a temperature controlled two-step anodization process. The surface features of the nanometer scale membrane such as pore density, pore diameter and interpore distance were quantified using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). SEM …
