Optimal Control Of A Grid Connected Photovoltaic System With Constant Switching Frequency, Djamila Rekioua Pr Feb 2013

Optimal Control Of A Grid Connected Photovoltaic System With Constant Switching Frequency, Djamila Rekioua Pr

REKIOUA Djamila Dr

This paper presents maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms for grid connected photovoltaic system. Due to the instantaneous changing of solar irradiance and temperature, it is desirable to determine the optimal voltage that ensures maximum energy yield. In order to optimize the photovoltaic energy generation, the MPPT is integrated in the inverter control. Perturb & Observ (P&O), Incremental Conductance (Inc Cond) techniques and fuzzy logic controller (FLC) are applied. A comparison shows the effectiveness of the FLC. The maximum power generated by the photovoltaic system is sent to the power grid to be consumed by the nearest customers. A constant …

Optimization Of Photovoltaic Power Systems, Djamila Rekioua Pr

REKIOUA Djamila Dr

Photovoltaic generation is one of the cleanest forms of energy conversion available. One of the advantages offered by solar energy is its potential to provide sustainable electricity in areas not served by the conventional power grid. Optimisation of Photovoltaic Power Systems details explicit modelling, control and optimisation of the most popular stand-alone applications such as pumping, power supply, and desalination. Each section is concluded by an example using the MATLAB® and Simulink® packages to help the reader understand and evaluate the performance of different photovoltaic systems. Optimisation of Photovoltaic Power Systems provides engineers, graduate and postgraduate students with the means …

Etude D'Une Centrale Hybride Photovoltaïque - Éolien - Diesel, Djamila Rekioua Pr Jan 2008

Etude D'Une Centrale Hybride Photovoltaïque - Éolien - Diesel, Djamila Rekioua Pr

REKIOUA Djamila Dr

The electrical energy using renewable hybrids are known, medium-term interest thanks to their flexibility vis-à-vis the primary energy sources. The objective of this work is the study of a hybrid central power, which combines two renewable energy sources (wind, solar) with storage and an emergency generator. The management of different energy sources is ensured by a manager who controls the opening and closing switches, depending on weather conditions (illumination, wind speed).

Contrôle D’Une Éolienne En Fonctionnement Autonome Basée Sur Une Génératrice Asynchrone, Djamila Rekioua Pr Jan 2007

Contrôle D’Une Éolienne En Fonctionnement Autonome Basée Sur Une Génératrice Asynchrone, Djamila Rekioua Pr

REKIOUA Djamila Dr

Direct Torque Control Strategy Of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines, Djamila Rekioua Pr Jun 2003

Direct Torque Control Strategy Of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines, Djamila Rekioua Pr

REKIOUA Djamila Dr

Direct torque control (DTC) can be applied to all AC machine drives. The synchronous machine torque control, based on the DTC structure, permits to obtained high dynamic performances. This method is a concrete solution to robustness and dynamics problems find in other control structures. In this paper, we present a direct torque control strategy with minimization torque pulsations. We use a current sensor and an incremental position sensor . In order to control the torque, we use an hysteresis current controllers technique. This strategy consists on detecting the current at the voltage inverter input, and adjusted it to follow a …
