An Animated Introduction To Digital Logic Design, John D. Carpinelli
An Animated Introduction To Digital Logic Design, John D. Carpinelli
Open and Affordable Textbooks
This book is designed for use in an introductory course on digital logic design, typically offered in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and other related programs. Such a course is usually offered at the sophomore level. This book makes extensive use of animation to illustrate the flow of data within a digital system and to step through some of the procedures used to design and optimize digital circuits.
All of the animations for this book can be found here: https://digitalcommons.njit.edu/dld-animations/

Big Data Analysis And Programming For Engineers, Josh Steimel
Big Data Analysis And Programming For Engineers, Josh Steimel
Pacific Open Texts
This text serves to cover critical programming, data analysis, statistical analysis, and mathematical skills for engineers. In particular fundamental programming skills are demonstrated using Mathematica specifically the importing of data sets, loop structures, plotting and statistically analyzing data, image analysis, and machine learning. Critical engineering topics such as solid mechanics, vibrations, and engineering problems which require solving ODEs and PDEs are covered.

Comprehensive Wind Speed Forecasting-Based Analysis Of Stacked Stateful & Stateless Models, Swayamjit Saha, Amogu Uduka, Hunter Walt, James Lucore
Comprehensive Wind Speed Forecasting-Based Analysis Of Stacked Stateful & Stateless Models, Swayamjit Saha, Amogu Uduka, Hunter Walt, James Lucore
Graduate Research Symposium
Wind speed is a powerful source of renewable energy, which can be used as an alternative to the non-renewable resources for production of electricity. Renewable sources are clean, infinite and do not impact the environment negatively during production of electrical energy. However, while eliciting electrical energy from renewable resources viz. solar irradiance, wind speed, hydro should require special planning failing which may result in huge loss of labour and money for setting up the system. In this poster, we discuss four deep recurrent neural networks viz. Stacked Stateless LSTM, Stacked Stateless GRU, Stacked Stateful LSTM and Statcked Stateful GRU which …

The book is designed for students, database administrators, software developers, and anyone interested in learning how to design and implement a database system. It provides a step-by-step approach to database design and implementation, with clear explanations and practical examples. It also includes exercises and quizzes at the end …
Co-Design Of An Interactive Wellness Park: Exploring Design Requirements For A Multimodal Outdoor Physical Web Installation With Older Adults, Fatima Badmos
Academic Posters Collection
The global demographic landscape is experiencing a notable shift, characterised by a growing proportion of adults over 60. According to projections, the proportion of individuals aged 60 and above is expected to reach one-sixth of the global population by 2030. Furthermore, by 2050, this demographic is projected to exceed a staggering two billion people. Amidst this shift, there is an urgent need to develop interactive and innovative solutions to address older adults' unique challenges, particularly in outdoor physical activity.
A co-design methodology involving older adults’ participation from the idea generation to the application development process will be adopted to address …
