"Plattsburg, Missouri is a thriving city of about two thousand population. It is situated in the heart of the most fertile Missouri land. Three railroads - Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe.; Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific; Quincy, Omaha and Kansas City - give easy access to St. Joseph, thirty miles distant, Leavenworth forty miles, or Kansas City, forty-one miles; respectively. The city is growing steadily and will in a few years be of such size that a sewage system will be necessary. We therefore submit the following plans, specifications and estimates.
