There exists no publication currently available to the scholars that address in detail, every aspect of designing a modern supersonic aircraft for civil aviation. This paper aims to resolve that issue. It reviews all the existing work that has been done on the topic so far and builds upon that. It incorporates multiple disciplines and takes into account the closely inter-coupled effects of each component on one-another. It also analyses in detail the various environmental and modern regulatory challenges like sonic boom and means to overcome them.
