The growing interest in EFL around the world has required learning opportunities that engage and maintain the motivation of students to learn English. This article aims to provide an analysis of the level of motivation, the motivational orientations that students experience, and explain the motivational factors that influence student motivation, these are relevant factors according to Dörnyei (2003) and Gardner (2010; 2009).
