The purpose of this project was to develop a model athletic coaches handbook for Orting High School, Orting School District, Orting, Washington. To accomplish this purpose, current research, literature, and other related information were reviewed. Additionally, specific policies of related information from selected authorities were adapted and developed to meet the needs of the athletic programs at Orting High School.

The purpose of this project was to design and develop a process model for evaluating athletic coaches in the Mabton School District, Mabton, Washington. The purpose of this project was to explore existing standard operating procedures of athletic leagues from around the State of Washington and to develop a Standard Operating Procedures Manual for use by the South Central "A" League of District IV of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association. The results showed that although all leagues are required to have such a manual, the governing body of high school athletics, Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (W.I.A.A.), recommended that only five league handbooks be used as models toward the development of this project.

Middle school students were surveyed to test two assumptions regarding fully participating versus being eliminated from sport activity and how elimination affects the choice ·of sport activity. The results showed that students would rather be participants than non-participants and that the possibility of elimination did not affect their choice of activity for most students.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of selected individuals on the acquisition of fundamental motor skills of girls. Specific problems were: 1. To develop a device for measuring influences exerted by selected individuals. 2. To measure fundamental motor skills. This study was limited to all ninth grade girls attending Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo, California. This study was limited to one administration of the questionnaire and one administration of the motor ability test per girl.
