This collection consists of a variety of materials that are organized into the following categories: artwork, objects, scrapbooks, and textiles. Some highlights include former president of the Lesley College Board of Trustees Livingston Stebbins’ family coat of arms, the trowel that former Lesley College President Trentwell Mason White used during the dedication ceremony of Trentwell Mason White Hall, a gym suit from the 1930s-1940s, and a green Lesley blazer. Also included are several scrapbooks, one of which chronicles the life of a Lesley School student in 1929.

In Fall 1967, the "Lesley Review" changed its title to the "Lesley Alumnae Review."

Dr. Nicole Brown, Class of 1999, recalls her days as a leader of the Black Student Union, lessons learned from the corporate world and goals as the Director of Multicultural Affairs. She further relates examples of IWU’s lack of progress on lasting change with regard to hiring and retaining Black faculty. In each portion of her IWU affiliations, Brown recalls the achievements and frustrations she experienced.

Miss Virginia Queen, Professor Emerita of Music at Ouachita Baptist University, died Wednesday, March 29, at age 96.
Miss Queen, who graduated from Ouachita in 1944 with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees, also earned a Master of Music degree from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. She taught at Prescott High School and the Tennessee College for Women before joining the Ouachita music faculty in 1946. She retired in 1986 after 40 years of service at Ouachita. In recent years, she resided at Parkway Village in Little Rock.

Prior to The University of Chicago Law School, Flores was a partner in the civil rights practice of Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. Additionally, she served as constitutional and legal advisor for the United Nations in East Timor and Zimbabwe. Dr. Comerford is Assistant Professor in the Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she works on observations of kpc-scale separation dual supermassive black holes in merger-remnant galaxies. These objects are observable when one or both of the supermassive black holes accrete gas as active galactic nuclei (AGN), in systems known as offset AGN and dual AGN, respectively. She uses research as a tool for education, teaming up with PhD Comics to create a video “Black Holes Explained,” which has received over 50,000 views on YouTube. Dr. J.D. Patterson, a noted alumnus, benefactor and former trustee of Ouachita Baptist University, died Sunday, March 26, at age 90.
University trustees affirmed Dr. Patterson’s lifelong commitment to Ouachita by naming the J.D. Patterson School of Natural Sciences in his honor in 2002. A 1947 Ouachita alumnus, he received Ouachita’s Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1984 and an honorary Doctor of Science degree in 1999. He served two terms on the Ouachita Board of Trustees from 2005 through 2011.
