The purpose of this study was to look at the following questions: 1. Has the growth declined or increased over the last five years for African American and Spanish American students in graduate studies in the Hampton Roads area? 2. What is the difference between enrollment of Spanish Americans and African Americans in the Hampton Roads area? 3. Is the participation in graduate programs higher at historically black universities or white universities in the Hampton Roads area?
