Purpose: The purpose of this manuscript is to examine the literature on peer feedback and identify the benefits of peer feedback on student learning and information retention.

This report details the findings of the Global Tracer Survey 2022 of alumni from the Australia Awards and predecessor development scholarships. The research was undertaken by the Australia Awards Global Tracer Facility (GTF), which is managed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). The survey was administered online between November 2022 and January 2023 to alumni from 114 countries who had studied in Australia as part of a scholarship or fellowship. Agricultural communications (ACOM) programs contend with continuous disruptive change caused by changing audiences, media technologies, and communications objectives. To keep curricula current, ACOM programs often turn to ACOM practitioners for guidance on how to prepare graduates. This explanatory sequential mixed methods study investigated ACOM practitioners in Missouri's perspectives on which skills and competencies were important for career readiness, as well as why they were important and under what circumstances. “Writing” and “reporting” skill categories were deemed most important. This study explored transfer of knowledge and skills from teacher professional learning activities to the workplace. A concurrent mixed method was adopted. Data was collected using questionnaire, FGD and interview. The study was carried out among teachers in public secondary schools in Makueni county in Kenya. The respondents included classroom teachers, principal as well as TPD provider.

Findings suggest that the transfer of training into the classroom is influenced by trainee characteristics, training design and work environment which were studied. In addition, findings revealed that while there is a sufficient supply of subject based TPL programs, the quality of these …

Incorporating Digital Technologies Into Initial Teacher Education:Enhancing Preservice Teachers' Skills, Samantha Bothe

Australian Journal of Teacher Education

Little is known about how preservice teachers learn the technological pedagogy and digital skills expected for graduate teaching. This article examines how digital technologies are incorporated into Initial Teacher Education in Victoria, Australia, specifically the Bachelor of Education, and identifies development opportunities for Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and digital skills. Case studies were conducted to investigate the practices at two universities. Data was collected through interviews and the collection of artefacts. Analysis was conducted using the lens of a Professional-Digital-Competence (P-D-C) framework.
