The topic of civility has become increasingly more relevant. Incivility is a problem and the overall level of rudeness in society has reached epic proportions. Higher education administrators often struggle with building community on their own increasingly diverse campuses as they try to promote tolerance and a sense of belonging. Fostering a civil environment is not easy but it should be the responsibility of everyone on campus.
