There is need in higher education for a comprehensive electronic system that bridges administrative and curricular processes. Such a system would create an interconnected and streamlined platform that supports three aspects of administrative and curricular processes: processing graduate school applications, housing student progression files and tracking program outcomes through student projects. Academic departments need flexible information systems to improve office processes, particularly in the areas of school application processing and student progression documents.
