Since the legalization of abortion in Nepal in 2002, the number of induced abortions has increased. Various national and international organizations have been giving greater attention and effort to enhancing the public’s knowledge on legal abortion. However, little research on pro-life education and its impact on abortion attitude have been conducted in Nepal and around the world at large. The purpose of this research was to explore the impact of pro-life education on abortion attitude among college students in Nepal.

Service-learning (SL) is proposed as a pedagogical method by the American Associate of Colleges of Nursing (AACN, 2008) for achieving the essential of professionalism and professional values (Essential VIII), which includes the concept of social justice. Along with the concept of social justice being discussed in Essential VIII, the concept of leadership is discussed throughout the AACN Essentials. SL has been implemented in many educational settings across the United States, including nursing. Dyslexia describes a difficulty in learning to read, write and/or spell. The term comes from the Greek word ‘dys-‘ which means difficulty with and ‘-lexia’ which means words or language. Dyslexia is an umbrella term that refers to a range of disorders which may be mild to severe, rather than a specific, narrowly defined problem. Dyslexia affects a person’s ability to process information that is presented in written language. It may affect the way a person receives, remembers, retrieves or structures information as well as the speed at which they process the information.
