Theses Digitization Project
The Unified Modeling Language (UML) became part of the curriculum in the Department of Computer Science at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) in September 1997. The intent was to integrate the object-oriented paradigm in the undergraduate courses. Subsequently, this use has shifted to the graduate level. The purpose of this thesis is: 1) to determine what the students know about UML, 2) to reveal if the students were using UML, 3) to clarify how students use the UML.

Theses Digitization Project
The purpose of this project was to create electronic books (E-books) for kindergartens to read during their center time. The E-books are intended for kindergarten teachers to use to help their students learn to read while utilizing the technology resources in their classroom. These E-books are teacher created so the cost is minimal and they can be copied and distributed to each student without worrying about copyright laws. Teachers can customize them to fit the current thematic unit they are teaching and once created, they can be used repeadedly without being damaged like paper books.

The Advising Module: Graduate Application System is a Web-based application system that provides quality advice on coursework for prospective as well as continuing graduate students. It also serves as an improved tracking system for the graduate coordinator. Authorized parties may obtain access to status evaluations, master's options, and permitted course waivers, course listings, personal data, various advisement forms, application usage statistics, and automatic data updating process reports.
