The number of international students pursuing higher education in the United States continues to grow each year. While over 190 countries are represented, over half of the students are coming from Asian countries. According to a 2001 survey of international students studying in the United States, 55% of students come from Asian countries, with China, India, and Japan listed as the top three countries of origin.
