Outdoor education can significantly improve the wellbeing of children, in regards to their mental health, emotional welfare, and physical condition. This thesis will present the existing evidence supporting the benefits of outdoor education, alongside resources and strategies that I have explored to support teachers beginning to take their students outdoors. For the purposes of this thesis, outdoor education is defined as experiential learning that takes place outdoors or focuses on learning about the natural world.
