In light of recent events in the global economy, more attention has been given to the subject of personal financial management. With a sluggish economy, rising student debt levels, increasing attention and concern, universities are considering if something should be done in an attempt to make students more financially literate. In order to better understand the current level of financial literacy, a survey of students at the University of Arkansas was conducted and compared to the same national survey conducted by Jump$tart.
