The purpose of this study was twofold: to formulate an aerospace education handbook providing pertinent information and material which may be woven into existing sixth grade courses in the elementary curriculum and to make a careful evaluation of one aerospace program in a sixth grade classroom. The problems were: (1) selection and organization of appropriate information and material for the handbook; (2) determining suggested teaching procedures and activities; and (3) preparation and administration of evaluative instruments for the program.

The purpose of this study is to survey former students of East Valley High School (formerly Moxee Consolidated High School) who terminated their education prior to graduation during the school years 1956-1957 to 1959-1960 inclusive in order to determine the reasons for their withdrawal. It is hoped that this information will be used by school personnel to plan a better educational program. If this study should indicate some shortcomings within the school, recommendations for an improved guidance program and/or curriculum changes could prove profitable to the students, the Moxee School District, the community, and society.

The purpose of this study was to determine if teacher experiences and materials in the Helix, Oregon, Unified School District could be (1) identified and inventoried, (2) classified and cataloged, (3) utilized in the curriculum in the form of teacher resource visitors and teacher resource materials, and (4) evaluated as to the increase in the use of teacher personnel and the attitudes toward this usage.

One of the main projects of the Stockton Unified School District Curriculum Council during the past two years has been to evaluate and review possible courses to be taught on a trial basis in the curriculums of the Stockton Senior High Schools.
One such course, "World of Art," was recommended and approved by the Curriculum Council to be initiated as a trial offering for no later than 1960. For many years business-sponsored films have been used widely in instruction in the science classroom. Because of the potential of the films in helping teachers bridge the gap between the fundamental teaching of scientific principles, and the applications found in the actual experiences of the student's consumer world, requests for them have often exceeded the output of those that are educationally sound.
