It was the purpose of this study (1) to review the literature regarding the organization of the nongraded elementary school; (2) to ascertain through the use of a questionnaire how the nongraded elementary schools have been organized in the State of Washington; and (3) to compare what the literature stated in organizing the nongraded school as to what was actually done in nongraded school systems in Washington State.

The purpose of this study was to find out to what extent the transfer program has benefited participating students. The hypothesis was that Negro elementary students participating in the transfer program would make more academic progress by 1968 than would Negro elementary students from the same home schools who did not transfer. All students had to be in grade four in 1966. Students must have taken a standardized achievement test in 1966 and 1968.

It was the purpose of this study to compile data concerning the structure and function of student councils in the elementary schools of Vancouver, Washington. This compilation of information will be available to aid educators who are assigned the duties and responsibilities of advising student councils at the elementary level. It will also give the administrators of Vancouver, Washington, who have endorsed elementary councils, an opportunity to ascertain their councils' current structure and function.

The purpose of this study is (1) to ascertain from data gathered whether there is a measurable difference of religious attitudes among the residence hall men at Walla Walla College as compared to residence hall men at Whitman College; and (2) determine to what extent the Walla Walla College group subscribes to a position based on the dogma of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
