The purpose of this study was to determine if the enrichment and supplementing of creative activities relating to and incorporated in spelling lessons would bring about greater achievement in spelling than the traditional method of only stressing skills and principles. Practical application of combining the creative activities and the traditional method of spelling was used in the fourth-year classroom.
