Rebuilding the Launchpad: Serving Students During Covid Resource Library

The Boise State University Reintegration Committee (“Committee”) is charged by President Marlene Tromp with recommending and advising when and under what conditions the university can reintegrate, or resume, in whole or part, in-person operations.

The Committee is chaired by Chief of Staff & Vice President for Compliance, Legal and Audit, Alicia Estey, JD, MPH, and has eleven additional members. The group meets regularly to review relevant research, modeling, clinical data and other inputs from respected sources that can help inform integrated and aligned recommendations, including recommendations from various work groups and subcommittees supporting reintegration. Dynamic teaching requires creative and flexible thinking about how instructors can support students in achieving essential core course learning objectives. This guide offers suggestions for instructors at Boise State looking to continue offering a student-centered learning experience through a variety of teaching formats including, online, hybrid, and remote environments.

While the process may feel unfamiliar and at times frustrating, try as much as possible to be patient. In times of disruption or change, everyone expects some pedagogical and technological hiccups. Be willing to switch tactics if something isn’t working.
