Kolb's (1985) Learning Style Inventory and theories of learning preferences have become increasingly popular as a method for measuring preferred approaches for acquiring information and learning in classroom settings. Using Kolob's (1985) theory; a number of researchers have argued that as students move through their college experience, their learning styles are likely to undergo significant changes.
