Adolescent literacy is a looming issue in secondary schools. Being able to read, comprehend, and write is imperative for students to understand the content of their classes and textbooks. Representatives from the libraries and faculty instructional technology support unit at a mid-sized, private university discuss several cross-departmental collaboration projects, including: a university-wide mobile learning initiative, the integration of library widgets into the course management system, and the creation of course-specific online research tutorials.
