The study investigated the sources of marital conflict among newly married in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. One research question and two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The population ofthe study comprisedall the newly married couplesin the area. Stratified random sampling technique was used in selecting sample for the study.Asample of200newlymarriedcoupleswasdrawn forthestudy. This paper is a systematic study of the 'Impact of students' failure in English Language and the Nigerian Formal Education' over the years in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State especially in WASSCE and NECD. To answer our research questions, the paper adopts the chi-square analysis at 5% level of significance with 6df. Some of the major study findings, causes and impact were identified and recommendations made to reduce students' failure in English Language.
