Since the ratification of the Agile Manifesto in 2001, agile methods such as Scrum and XP have become mainstream and proved their ability to shorten the software development lifecycle, raise quality and reduce costs. Hence the question: Is agile a "silver bullet" that can conquer the inherent complexity of software development?
