The aim of this study is to determine the characteristics that an ethical teacher should have, based on the teachers' opinions, to determine what can be done to raise the awareness of teaching professional ethics in teachers and to bring teachers' perspectives on teaching professional ethics principles to a conceptual analysis with focus group discussion. This research was carried out with the participation of 6 teachers working in public schools in the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.
