Professor Danny Mydlack recounts the mysterious arc of his student’s creative unfolding. Amelia, a middle-aged single mom, drops out of the personal videography production class before the end and yet her final assignment is delivered, posthumously, by her adult daughters. For the author, Amelia returned him to the core principles from his student days: the vast, wide terrain that is the true realm of art-making and an embrace of the fullness rather than merely the fineness of art practice. Kindergarten Teachers’ Learning/Teaching Practices To Enhance The Arab Identity Of Jerusalem (Al- Quds), Dr.Buad Mohamed Khales

This study aims to provide an insight into kindergarten teachers to empower the Arabic narrative in Jerusalem. The sample study consists of 16 teachers and 7 principals that working in different kindergarten schools in Jerusalem.

The methodology follows utilizes a qualitative analysis of data through a descriptive analytical design, based on observations, electronic focus group, and interviews.

The study results show that the understudy participant kindergarten teachers have already implemented a variety of activities related to Jerusalem without necessarily dedicating the topic under a designated unit within the curriculum. This article explores the need for and applications of trauma-informed teaching in eighteenth-century studies, particularly around representations of sexual trauma (rape) and consent. The prevalence of trauma guarantees its presence in our classrooms, even and especially in its absences. As the field of eighteenth-century studies continues to reframe its white, Eurocentric, male-dominated past through more intentionally inclusive research and teaching methods, particularly those that explore the intersections of eighteenth-century studies and social justice approaches to education, the presence of trauma in our classrooms will become only more significant. Abstract: In this narrative, the author relays the experience of meeting virtually with two small book clubs, one sixth grade and one eighth grade, during the 2020-2021 school year. Meeting over Zoom, choosing books to read, and creating their own community, the members of the book club explore three major themes in their time together talking about books: connecting reading and writing, learning more about themselves, and building understandings about the world. Weaving the book club members’ voices with her own pedagogical decision-making, the author illustrates new ways to think about teaching as she centers student choice and flexible pedagogies.
