The article considers the influence of irrigation methods on the yield of winter wheat and saving vegetation irrigation. The procedure and timing of irrigation of winter cereal crops are determined depending on the amount of irrigation, irrigation standard, climate of the region, soil and hydrogeological conditions, as well as biological characteristics of the cultivated variety and applied agrotechnical measures.
