High school students with autism in a transitional/postsecondary program for students with intellectual disabilities struggle to perform/recall functional skills. The HPST Framework, a guide developed for document analysis (Pombo,2015), was implemented in a post secondary transition program at Florida International University. The purpose of this study was to explore the necessary adaptions for the implementation with students with ID at the university level as well as their reading comprehension outcomes.
