Paced with rapid and continuous growth in the school population, the County School Board of Henrico County, Viginia, authorized in 1959 an intensive and extensive survey of the curricular offerings in its secondary Schools. The purpose of this survey was two-fold: to discover the educational needs of its youth and to determine to What extent the county high schools were meeting these needs.
