This study examined considerations for delivering online instruction and related services to students with disabilities. The purpose of the study was to uncover teachers’ reflections about their experiences with online learning for students with disabilities as a response to COVID-19. We used an online open-ended survey to collect reflections from practicing teachers, who were graduates of a special education program at a university in Florida. Our findings highlighted challenges and unanticipated benefits of online service delivery. We discussed how administrators should streamline instructional-delivery platforms and procedures for teachers, students, and families. Early Childhood Female Teachers’ Awareness Of The Child Abuse Protection System, Raja Omar Bahatheg Ph.D.

This research aimed to investigate female kindergarten teachers' awareness of the child protection system in Saudi Arabia. To achieve such objective, the author used the descriptive approach to give a detailed description of the variables of the study. The sample of the study included (633) female teachers. Results revealed that 94.9% of the teachers were aware of the protection system in Saudi Arabia and the laws of child abuse punishment. The study aimed at exploring the level of awareness of grade 10 students about UNESCO associated and non-UNESCO associated government schools in the Sultanate of Oman regarding the dimensions of the purple economy. The present study aimed to uncover the possibility of mediating academic self-efficacy beliefs in the relationship between parenting styles and psychological coping styles among tenth grade students in the Sultanate of Oman. This study investigated the deaf and hard-of-hearing students' experience of distance education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during COVID-19 during the 2020 academic year. The authors followed a phenomenological approach, conducting an in-depth interview with 10 female teachers of deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Qualitative data revealed four main themes, which show students' experience of distance education. It was found that there is a general satisfaction among teachers in relation to the experience of distance education. Contribution Of A Differentiated Counseling Program Based On Self-Organization And Goal Orientation In Improving The Level Of Scientific Flow And Self-Awareness Among Economically Disadvantaged Gifted Students, Refah M. Al-Johar, Abdulhamid A. Al-Arfaj

International Journal for Research in Education

The current study aimed to improve the level of scientific flow level and self-awareness of economically disadvantaged gifted students through an online counseling program that depends mainly on self-organization and goal orientation. The study used a mixed-methods design. The sample consisted of 6 gifted economically disadvantaged students; 3 middle school students and 3 secondary school students. The authors developed the scientific flow scale and the self-awareness scale. Moreover, a differentiated counseling program was developed. The results have shown statistically significant differences (α < 0.01) on the scientific flow scale in favor of the post-testing. The results also showed statistically significant differences at the level of (α < 0.01) on the self-awareness scale in favor of the post-testing, which indicates the effect of the counseling program. The study also identified the factors affecting the nature of the relationship between economic deprivation, self-regulation, and goal orientation by determining the impact of economic deprivation on talent aspects, then determining the influencing factors. Data analysis revealed that there are three influential factors, namely the degree of economic deprivation, age, and the level of family education. The role of the counseling program in reducing the effectiveness of the factors affecting the nature of the relationship between economic deprivation, self-regulation and goal orientation was analyzed.

The current study aimed to identify the counseling needs and their relationship to the level of aspiration and attitudes towards study among university students with disabilities. The sample consisted of 85 students with disabilities enrolled at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The study aimed to explore the reality of Saudi learner’s acceptance of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platforms in the Light of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A descriptive approach was utilized, and 1583 learners participated in the survey. The results indicated that the majority of Saudi learners accepted MOOCs platforms represented by Doroob and agreed that it provides them with the desired benefit at a rate of 85.4%. This study aimed to explore the use of distance learning with students with intellectual disability from teacher's perspectives during the corona pandemic. The study sample included 320 teachers who specialized in teaching students with intellectual disability. The study used descriptive approach and prepared a questionnaire which consisted of two sections: teachers' attitude to use distance learning and barriers of using distance learning.
