Community Readiness: A Case Study Of University Communities Engaging In Hazing Prevention, Stephanie A. Swan

The case study is an examination of “community readiness” for a cohort of U.S. universities participating in a three-year research initiative to develop evidence-based hazing prevention strategies. Drawing on the Community Readiness Model (CRM), this study assessed community readiness, the relative level of acceptance of a program, action, or other form of decision-making that is locality-based (Donnermeyer et al., 1997).
