The representative described what they perceive as cultural factors that result in students feeling marginalized on campus and the lack of campus support in addressing the manifestations of rape culture -- harassment, belittlement, assault, and anxiety. The representative discussed the way this issue intersects with issues which affect students of color, LGBTQ+ students, and other students who are not broadly represented.
