During the period of acquisition and first practice of movement skills, learning becomes more effective when various sensory channels are used. In the context of dance education, either as part of physical education or on its own, the assessment of dance performance is used as a benchmark of the students’ progress. Although reliability is a critical feature of this process, the majority of research projects are restricted in the lining up of reliability statistical indexes without giving guidelines for its establishment through sound training of the judges.
