The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the Lexia PowerUp program on the reading level of struggling readers in middle school. This study will take place in a suburban to rural community in the southern part of Northern Virginia. The participants will include students who have been found to be struggling readers and have been placed into a reading intervention class. The program called Lexia PowerUp is going to be used during a reading intervention class.
