Families and children around the world are trying to find the food they need to live healthy, balanced lives. There are many factors that contribute to the demise of this becoming a reality for them. Food deserts, low income, food insecurity and the mental stability of parents everywhere contribute to this demise. There are ways to overcome these issues. When children do not have the food they need to fuel their minds and bodies, including test scores, and behavior in the classroom are affected.
