The purpose of this study was to develop a sequential procedural steps of inservice training of environmental education for industrial/vocational senior high school teachers in Taiwan R.O.C. The study investigated the attitudes and needs of teachers in terms of inservice training for environmental education. It also investigated teachers' perceptions of content, formats, time preferences, teaching methods, and administrative support for inservice training. This research involves a study of professional growth and technical update perceptions of needs for trade and industry/technical instructors and administrators. The survey includes the following occupational areas: automotive/diesel, auto collision repair, electricity/electronics, construction/building trades, and manufacturing/machine trades instructors and their supervisors for a five state region of the midwest which includes Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. The purposes of this study were: (1) to examine the effectiveness of the Career Decision Scale as a measure of career indecision of foreign students, and (2) to explore the effects of demographic variables of gender, cultural background, academic level, area, and source of financial support on the career indecision of foreign students;The Career Decision Scale (CDS) and a short-form questionnaire were mailed to a total of 450 foreign students attending Iowa State University during Fall semester 1988. Purpose. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between having financial assistance and not having financial assistance on grade point average, program completion, and having secured employment related to training on postsecondary career education students from selected Iowa area schools and community colleges;Scope of the study. Practical nursing education existed in Iowa as early as 1891 within some of the state institutions for the insane. These programs were intended to provide a work force for the institution, rather than an educational opportunity for students. State licensure for practical nurses was not imposed until 1949. Interest in the development of practical nursing programs in the mid 1940s was a direct result of the severe shortage of nursing students. An eighteen-variable path analysis model was developed that traced the effects of varying degrees of leadership style through paths of student characteristics and student perceptions of teachers and those teachers' supervisors;A series of least-squares regression and errors-in-variables regression analyses were performed to obtain path coefficients showing the strongest paths to two measures of student productivity.
