هدف البحث التعرّف إلى مهارات المعلم التدريسية وسماته الرقمية التي يريدها الطالب في ظل التعليم عن بعد وما الإجراءات اللازمة لتحسين أدائه لتحقيق التفاعل بينه وبين الطالب وانعكاس هذا التفاعل على تعلّم الطلبة، وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي للإجابة عن أسئلته والتأكد من فرضياته، وقد أسفر البحث عن النتائج الآتية: جاءت متوسطات تقديرات الطلبة مرتفعة في مجالات الاستبانة وفقراتها كافة ، وهذا مؤشر كبير على حاجة الطلبة إلى توفر مثل هذه المهارات وتلك السمات في معلميهم. هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات الطلبة تبعًا لمتغير الجنس جاءت لصالح الإناث، ووجود فروقات تبعًا لمتغير المدينة كان لصالح مدينة …

Six Modes Of Giving Pedagogy For Engagement And Wellbeing – For Teachers And Students, Thomas W. Nielsen, Jennifer S. Ma

The present study took place across two outdoor education trips to the Great Barrier Reef with two groups of college students (N = 36; 16-19 years), five staff, and one of the authors (TWN). The aim was to explore how an explicit understanding and implementation of the wellbeing research around cultivating generous behaviour for meaningful happiness could be ‘experienced’ by staff and students and articulated as an educational framework, or ‘pedagogy’. Hermeneutic phenomenology was used to record and interpret pedagogical transactions of giving. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant impacts on education. During this time, educators were tasked to develop creative and new ways to engage and teach students. Mentoring has been shown to positively impact academic and psychosocial outcomes and can enhance clinical skills in both in-person and e-learning environments. However, there is need for further research on peer mentoring programs in occupational therapy curriculum.

This article is about an assignment I do in one of my Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies social movement classes. I revised the assignment the first time teaching the class after Trump lost the 2020 election. For the assignment, students work in groups to research local feminist and gender justice organizations and deposit all of their original materials – recordings, photos, flyers, etc. – into a digital, open access archive I co-created several years ago with librarians and staff on my campus. Purpose: In Australia, the ability to interpret orthopaedic x-rays is an entry-level skill for physiotherapists. Yet there is a paucity of evidence in the literature which details effective learning and teaching methods to optimise confidence and competence in x-ray interpretation. The aims of this study were to describe the content contained in an orthopaedic radiology module within an Australian 2-year graduate entry Master of Physiotherapy degree; approaches to learning and teaching used in this module; student satisfaction associated with this module over a 2-year period.
