Background: Electronic health records (EHRs) are commonly used within healthcare systems across the United States. Although EHRs were developed to provide safe delivery of care, poor documentation quality remains a problem. Poor HER documentation can negatively affect many patients’ health outcomes.

Purpose: The purpose of the DNP project was to determine the degree to which using a simulated electronic documentation model to train nurses in an acute care unit would decrease documentation errors and missed care and decrease missed opportunities for patient education in EHRs.

This study examines connections between growth mindset interventions, attitude towards struggle, and productive struggle in the mathematics classroom. A quasi-experimental quantitative study using a pretest-posttest design examined the effects of Reader’s Theater to eighth graders fluency and comprehension development. The study used 50 eighth grade students with 25 students making up the control group and 25 students making up the experimental group. Reader’s Theater was used as an intervention with the experimental group for 30 minutes a day for 6 weeks while the control group used regular instructional methods including summarizing, questioning, and text-dependent questions. Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the effect of two idiom interventions by students with Specific Language Impairment (SLI). Idioms are linguistic expressions that have figurative meanings other than their literal interpretation. There is a strong correlation between idiom interpretation and academic success (Nippold & Martin, 1989). Students with learning disabilities are placed in general education classrooms in increasing numbers. Many of these students receive additional services in Resource Room programs taught by a special education teacher. The intent of this study was to determine if students with disabilities, who were struggling in mathematics, increased achievement utilizing Resource Room instruction as an intervention. Abstract The purpose of this project was to see what effects collaboration had on early intervention in a preschool. Fourteen guides at a Montessori preschool in Texas were asked to complete a beginning survey, attend weekly collaborative meetings for seven weeks, attend a focus group and complete an ending survey. Data showed that collaboration helped the teachers feel more valued and supported when helping all kinds of different learners.
